About Jacquelyn
Leading public health strategy at the intersection of systems and community.
I am a public health and health equity strategist, educator, and collaborative systems builder. My work is grounded in a central belief: the people most affected by public systems should have meaningful power in shaping how those systems are designed, governed, and improved.
For more than twelve years, I have worked across public health, healthcare, nonprofit, academic, philanthropic, and community settings. I lead complex initiatives that bring together people with different forms of expertise—from community-based organizations and public health leaders to funders, researchers, healthcare institutions, and technology partners.
My role is often to help people make sense of complexity, name the real problem beneath the presenting challenge, and develop a strategy that communities and institutions can carry forward together.

I am particularly drawn to work that does not have an easy or predetermined answer. These are often the places where technical expertise alone is insufficient and where stronger relationships, cultural humility, and shared responsibility are necessary.

I began my career in public health because I wanted to better understand why some communities experience persistent barriers to health while others benefit from systems that were built to support them. Over time, I came to understand that disparities are not simply the result of individual choices or program failures. They are produced and sustained through policies, institutions, relationships, resource decisions, and deeply rooted social conditions.
That understanding continues to shape how I lead.
I look beyond whether a program is well-intentioned and ask deeper questions:

Who carries the burden of implementation?

What will remain after the funding or formal initiative ends?
These questions help move equity from aspiration to practice.

She leads complex initiatives that bring institutions and communities together to develop more equitable, accountable, and sustainable systems.
